Ultimate Role Playing Tools

B3D has experience programming custom 3D role playing tools.  recently we produced technology for "The Devil Island Mystery" - an adventure based learning class offered by KAIST University in Daejon, Korea. Contact us today for the Ultimate role playing tools!

DESCRIPTION:
Using the rich 3D environment of Second Life, instructors can setup very creative role-playing scenarios using this exploding cauldron.  The teacher can create a special ingredient list into the pot, then send their students on a scavenger hunt to find these items.  Once found, the students must place the items in the pot in the correct order. If the order is mixed up, the cauldron will explode!  This project was custom programmed and built for Chis Surridge of KAIST University in Daejon South Korea.  Chris needed a cauldron for his http://elearningproject.com website, and Second Life University English Course.

DEVELOPMENT

If you carefully plan your simulation, pretty much anything can be programmed to fit your context and award points. The key is to motivate students to learn. Young and old, everyone responds to points.  This pot, can work standalone, or integrated with the Moodle Learning management system, so that points are awarded when correct ingredients are placed inside.  If you would like this cauldron configured for your simulation, or need custom item built for you, contact us, and we'll see what we can do!
